From our founder:

I’ve been blessed to work in an industry I love for 49 years and even more blessed to have operated Barnhart Pump Company for 37 years. I know these blessings come from God and God alone and I don’t take that lightly.

I have worked for some extraordinary customers along the way and our employees have served our customers and us with excellence.

My wife, Melinda has been right there with me and I could not have succeeded without her support.

There are some people who deserve my thanks, the first being my parents. My mom taught me to not be a quitter and she taught me to have compassion and a deep, deep love for God. My dad showed me by example to take care of family and to not give up. My mom and my brother were there at the beginning of Barnhart Pump Company; it never would’ve happened without them.

Mark Birkelo has been with the company for over 20 years. Together we have weathered some powerful storms. He kept me from drowning in those storms.

Melinda and I have decided to pass our company on. Our daughter, Shellie and son-in-law, Brad Costain are the new owners of Barnhart Pump Company. Brad has worked with us for over 20 years. Shellie has been our daughter all her life. They deserve our thanks also. It takes strong, dedicated people to work in this industry. Know that they will continue to operate Barnhart Pump Company with the greatest of honesty, integrity and knowledge.

I thank you all for your loyalty and support and, above all, I thank God for His constant faithfulness.
