Well Information:
It is presumed that this well was drilled in 1875. It is located in the tourist Mecca of Manitou Springs, Colorado. We plan to rehabilitate this well in such a way that it will free flow under artesian pressure to a fountain for the public to enjoy. The mineral water produced by this well and several others in Manitou Springs are known worldwide.

Several of the video clips show holes in the well casing and in one video the casing is missing all together. The aggressiveness of the water in these wells is a result of the natural carbonation created when the water mixes with the Rocky Mountain mineral deposits deep in the earth.

We plan to install a liner in this well and seal out the upper part of the borehole to prevent infiltration of ground water.
